September 27th
This week the Tennessee
Republican Party puts the spotlight on State House District
42 candidate Ryan Williams!
I
am confident our government can do better. From managing
our tax dollars more effectively to better representing
small business interests and upholding family values, I
believe I can make a positive difference. With your support,
I'll take our values to our State Government. - Ryan
Williams
WHO IS RYAN
WILLIAMS?
Ryan Williams is a successful businessman and member of
the Cookeville City Council. He is currently the director
of business development for J&S Construction Company.
His responsibilities include managing the design, estimating
and contract writing of proposals for his prospective clients.
Ryan and Abby have two children: Tyson, 8, and Carson, 6.
Ryan serves as a Sunday school teacher at Church on the
Hill and also coaches youth soccer.
WHERE & WHY
IS RYAN RUNNING?
Ryan Williams is running for State Representative in House
District 42 because he believes our government can do better.
We can do better at representing our small-town values.
We can do better at managing our tax dollars. We can do
better at finding solutions instead of pointing fingers.
That's why Ryan wants to bring forward-thinking leadership
to our state government as our next State Representative
for District 42 which is comprised of the majority of Putnam
County. Ryan is challenging incumbent Democrat Henry Fincher,
a Harvard lawyer, whose campaign is backed by the same Big
Labor bosses who helped Barack Obama capture the White House
and Nancy Pelosi become Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
"The time for politics as usual is over. There are
real challenges that our communities, our state and our
country need to face. Yet many in our state capital are
content with grandstanding and playing the blame game. We
need to create jobs that will stimulate our economy, we
need responsible fiscal management to stop wasteful spending,
and we need leadership that will provide solutions instead
of serve political agendas."
WHAT WILL RYAN
DO FOR YOU IN THE STATE LEGISLATURE?
Ryan's vision for Tennessee is built on integrity and values.
As a Cookeville City Councilman, Ryan worked tirelessly
with elected officials, city leaders, and citizens to provide
solutions to the city's challenges. From economic development,
education, public safety, quality of life, or balancing
the budget, Ryan has consistently led Cookeville forward.
And now he's seeking your support in taking that same leadership
to Nashville as our State Representative.
Ryan's vision for Tennessee is to move the right way FORWARD.
- Focus on family. Support education and family values.
Ryan is 100 percent pro-life and pro-traditional family.
- Open doors. Spearhead programs for job creation and
economic development.
- Respect the position. Remember that elected officials
are servants of the people.
- Work together. Don't fall victim to personal or political
agendas.
- Address challenges head on. Face adversity with courage
and determination.
- Renew faith in government. Lead with integrity, respect
and accountability.
- Develop a plan for the future. Improve infrastructure,
balance the budget, and prepare for growth.
