• Don is married to his wife Mary of 40 years. Together they've raised three children and are now the proud grandparents of six grandchildren.
• Don McLeary is a native of West Tennessee, a graduate of North Side High School and graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he played the position of tailback on the 1967 National Championship team.
• Don is a former member of the Tennessee State Senate and has a background in the financial services industry. Presently, he devotes his time to the Memphis Conference of the United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he volunteers as a football coach at South Gibson County High School.

• Tainted Tennessee with higher taxes. Just like Washington liberals Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi who are raising your taxes, Lowe Finney voted with other liberal politicians to raise taxes here in Tennessee.
• Spoiled by Obama's values. Lowe Finney has received hundreds of dollars from Melinda Medlin, the Deputy Advance Director for Obama for America and a key leader in the effort to elect Obama President.
• Contaminated by special interests. Lowe Finney is supported by the same big labor unions and PACS that supported President Obama and his radically liberal agenda. To date, Finney has raked in thousands of dollars from pro-Obama groups.
