More about John Ragan:

• John is married to his wife, Elizabeth, and together they have a daughter and a son.
• John flew jets for the Air Force and served this country as a commissioned officer for 24 years - eight of which were served overseas in Vietnam and in the Middle East. His son Patrick is currently an active-duty Air Force Major, flying F-16s and has served on a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
• After retirement from the military, John worked as a business consultant to more than 27 companies, many of which are on the Fortune 100 list.
• John has an undergraduate degree in engineering from the Air Force Academy, a Master's Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and has served as Adjunct Faculty for graduate and undergraduate studies in engineering and accident forensics.
• John is active in a variety of local community organizations, including the video ministry at Grace Baptist Church, the local school system where he fills in as a substitute teacher, a fraternal order of military pilots, and helped found and served as an officer for two Air Force Association Chapters.

DEMOCRAT JIM HACKWORTH IS WRONG FOR DISTRICT 33

• Wrong on taxes. Jim Hackworth supported a $250 million tax increase on Tennesseans.
• Wrong on health care. Jim Hackworth voted against Tennessee standing up to ObamaCare.
• Wrong on values. Jim Hackworth refused to vote on a measure that would stop Planned Parenthood from receiving Tennesseans' tax dollars.
