- Eddie Bass and his family have made millions off of Tennessee
taxpayers. Since his election to the State House, the Bass family has been awarded $1,623,334.79 in taxpayer dollars for government contracts to mow grass.
- While taking millions in taxpayer dollars, Marshall and Giles County residents can't find
work. According to the Tennessee Department of Labor, Marshall County continues to have the second-highest unemployment in the state at 16 percent with Giles County close behind at 13 percent.
