VICTORY! TAKING THE HILL - 10/10/08
TAKING THE HILL…

VOTING TIME AND VOTER INTEGRITY
Early voting begins this upcoming week, October 15 through October 30 at your county’s early voting designated sites. Make it a priority to get to the polls during this two-week window and encourage as many friends and family to do the same.
In addition to voting, volunteer and be vigilant. Pollwatchers may be certified through your local county Republican Party and candidates on the ballot. Pollwatchers have specific opportunities to work in a capacity in the polling sites as one more assurance of voter integrity.
Volunteering as a pollwatcher is very important! Headlines have been reporting the mass voter fraud that has occurred as voter registration forms that range from multiple duplicates of the same individual intentionally submitting forms for different counties, for fictitious names, for names of individuals already registered in another county, and on and on. The ultra-liberal organization, ACORN, and campaigns who have mobilized their workers to commit fraud obviously have little faith in winning at the ballot box. Therefore, they turn to the strategy of making a mockery of our system of voting and are committed to undermining voter integrity.
Please contact your local county party or the Tennessee Republican Party to volunteer during the election.
We will be receiving the database this week of names submitted in Tennessee as “new registrants.” The TRP will be assisting counties that report irregularities and work through the legal system if necessary to make the elections in Tennessee fair, legal and equitable.
It is a disgusting and intellectually dishonest position to rail about rights, liberties and freedoms, when candidates, a political party and organizations choose to close their eyes to obvious criminal activity and to encourage such behavior in order to gain political power.
Join us! We want your help!

WHAT INFLUENCES THE CANDIDATES? DOES IT MATTER?
Over the last few days, we’ve seen press reports begin doing what should have been done months ago…tell about the backgrounds of both presidential candidates, Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain.
Senator John McCain served his country as a Naval pilot, was shot down in combat, held by communist Vietnamese and tortured. John McCain returned to America with life-changing war injuries and a life committed to the service of his country…Country First.
Whether as a U.S. Congressman or U.S. Senator, John McCain has voted first for America and her best, rather than his self-interest.
John McCain, along with Governor Sarah Palin, are asking to serve America as President and Vice President.
In contrast, Barack Obama attended Ivy League schools, served in Richard Daley’s Chicago as a “community organizer,” who lead ACORN voter registration projects, launched his state senate campaign in the home of two self-proclaimed domestic, “unrepentant terrorists,” served only 143 days as the institution’s “most liberal” U.S. Senator before launching his presidential bid, and now, is attempting to minimize the $800,000+ check his campaign paid ACORN during the primary season this year to work for him.
Does it matter? Future behavior is best determined by past behavior. With 94 votes to raise taxes or obstruct tax cuts, with his stance and votes in the state senate to refuse medical assistance to an infant born after a botched abortion, with his agreement to, in his own words, “sit down” with the likes of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran (and a former terrorist involved with those who took 52 Americans hostage at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in the late 1970s); a terrorist-leader who hates Israel with no preconditions; with his promise to take our health care and socialize it, removing your personal choice and selection, and with all the liberal, radical stances of Barack Obama, truth is relevant.
