The Tennessee Republican Party welcomes Senator John McCain to Nashville Monday, June 2nd for a Townhall meeting at the Ryman Auditorium joined by former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and former Senator Fred Thompson.

Please join John McCain whose policies clearly support a commitment to victory in the Global War on Terror; a determination to keep your hard-earned money in your pocket–not wasted by excessive government spending; a vision for affordable health care without socializing the system and the patient; a plan to save Social Security and Medicare…just a few issues that will put John McCain in complete contrast to the liberal elite policies of Barack Obama.

NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Democrat Party today continued to defend the culture of death that is today’s abortion-on-demand industry.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the TDP sought to portray Tennessee Republicans as divided on the question of whether abortion should be kept legal in certain cases, such as rape, incest and the health of the mother-to-be.

Clearly, Operation Tennessee Waltz has not changed the culture of corruption in the State Capitol. If recent media accounts are accurate–revealing that Speaker Naifeh knew of Democrat Rep. Rob Briley’s affair with the trial lawyers’ lobbyist when he appointed Briley to chair the Judiciary Committee–the Democrat Leader of the House has committed an egregious assault on legislative ethics and decency.
